Private and confidential – Any request to SOS OnlineHelp is anonymous. The access is protected by a username and password, and the user’s real identity will never be revealed. All our employees have an obligation not to disclose any information.
Competent – It is important that all our counsellors have a solid education and are equipped with the skills and confidence they need to handle emotional situations. Our approach is based on the principles of engaging with customers in a sensitive and compassionate way, and, without judgement. We do not make decisions for you, we do not impose any personal attitude or beliefs on you. We are there to give you time, space and support to discuss your options and explore your feelings.
Multilingual – Luxembourg is multicultural. As well as Luxembourgish, German, and French you can also write us in English, Spanish or Portuguese. Bear in mind that the time to answer in these two languages can take up to three days more.
Not immediately – We take every request very seriously, and will take the time necessary to provide a detailed and personal answer. This is why the answers to your messages can’t be instantanious. In general we answer within 3 working days after receiving your message.
Open to everybody – Anyone can contact us. Whether the reason concerns work-related stress, relationship or family problems, anxiety, depression or painful illness, no matter what your background or your difficulties, you can contact us to express your feelings and problems. You can get in touch about anything that’s troubling you, no matter how large or small the issue. We’re here to listen.
Free – Our help is free of charge and without any hidden catches.
