I’m alone

Sitting by the phone

Should I call

Or stare at the wall

Is this going to last?

Or will it pass?

Should I talk

Or take a walk

I wish to travel

With my novel

I can do it in my mind

Where I’ll find

The best destination

Without frustration

Time passes without stress

And less mess

My house is clean

And I ate all the ice cream

Soon I’ll be free
